Carnalbanagh Road, Broughshane

Our client commissioned us to sympathetically restore and rebuild elements of this beautiful, vernacular building.

Due to cement deposits on the stone, we began by chemically cleaning the surface of the stone and removing any unwanted mortar from the joints.

A new doorway was created and a window cill and reclaimed brick added colour and shape to the facade.

All the stone was re–pointed using lime prior to the new door and window frame being installed.
